The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn.

An acorn has begun it’s journey to becoming an oak tree.  It has first put out a rootlet, searching for a spot in which to grow.  It has pushed that root down into the earth to start and has now put out the first tiny stem which will make its first leaves.  In the process of bursting into life, the acorn has popped open it’s protective shell. It looks like a heart doesn’t it? Its tiny, fragile stem, if it weathers all the storms and possible hazards that might come, could become another of the towering oak trees that live at Deer Park.  Here’s hoping!
