Deer Park Campground and Retreat Center - Facilities

 The AUDITORIUM is a Pennsylvania-registered historic building, uniquely designed with sixteen sides, was built in 1876. Appropriate for formal meetings, worship services, performances, the Auditorium seats 450 persons. It is unheated and serves as a great facility for indoor recreation and has two basketball goals
The FOOD SERVICE BUILDING has a well equipped kitchen, two serving lines with heated service tables, a gas furnace, and a large dining hall with a fireplace. It is an efficient and comfortable year-round meal and meeting room facility. The dining hall accommodates 180 people at one sitting; with tables folded and stored, it is an attractive and bright meeting room.
The LODGE accommodates 48 people in twelve carpeted rooms with two bunk beds that sleep four each. The rooms open into a central all-purpose room with a wood burning stove, cathedral ceiling and skylights. Equipped with a kitchen, central heating, central air, rest room facilities and showers, the Lodge is perfect for year round use
The unheated CHAPEL has a large stone fireplace and seats 75 people for meetings, recreation or crafts.
The summer DORMITORY houses thirty-two people in eight sleeping rooms, each with two bunk beds that sleep four people. There are twenty-two unheated CABINS that accommodate four to eight people. HOUSING accommodates a total of 210 people in beds and room for tents and RV's on the grounds
The EDUCATION BUILDING is a heated, air conditioned, carpeted building perfect for meetings, seminars, classes and activities.
There are separate men's and women's showers and rest rooms, and a laundry room. The PAVILION is perfect for craft classes and picnics. There is a TOT PLAYGROUND with a pavilion and a playground for older children. You will find designated campfire sites in various locations for a memorable experience. Deer Park has a beautiful swimming pool that is open for the summer camping season.
